Our Second Ultrasound!!!

We had our second (and final) ultrasound this morning. She is still a girl. Things all look good so far. She has the parts she is supposed to have, and nothing extra. Her head is down, and her she had her hands up by her face, and she was bent in half. She weighs either just over 2 lbs, or 2 lbs and 12-14 oz. Chris and I can't remember what the lady said. It also seems that she unfortunately has her mother's giant noggin, so I may be rethinking the "no epidural" idea.

She's been pretty active lately. Sometimes, she kicks and hits. Sometimes, I swear she is doing somersaults! It's like my whole body undulates with her movements. A lot of times, she seems lazy, and lets gravity do its thing (mainly, it shoves her head into my soft, cushy intestines and bladder, creating a hard lump at the bottom, and soft doughiness on top. Very attractive.) If I sit bent funny, she lets me know that she would like me to move by popping me good a few times. Overall, I figure she's going to be some kind of athlete, because she has tons of energy.

In this one, you can see the profile of her head. The ovally shape near her chin is a cross-section of her arm (I think). See the size of that melon?

This one is kind of creepy once you realize what you're looking at. Beautiful, but creepy. Look at the top, where all the white curvy lines are. Then, right below them, is a white curve with a black oval. That black oval is her eye socket, and the curve is her cheek. See?

And this last one is again her face in profile. It's harder to see, as she's moved her arms around her neck, but you can see a little nose, and lips, I think.

Anyways, that's what we've got so far...In approximately 80 days, you'll see her in color...hopefully. It would suck if she came out and was still in black and white.
